Dressed for Success…Turned Out For Murder by Donna Mumma

If you like cozy mysteries, this is the series for you. I love books where I really enjoy the actual characters and this has been one of my favorite series because of Audrey, Mary Jo, Miss Vivien and Gigi. Sometimes, characters seem "real" to me and for some reason, these ladies make that list. This book is a good mystery (it got me, I didn't guess who it was) but it's also a book about friends and the lengths they will go to help each other. It's also got a good lesson about never assuming  who may or may not be a good friend. I really enjoy the setting of the department store and how it is set decades ago when people took pride in their work.

This book is just a refreshing read  in that it is well thought out mystery wise, but just a fun time spending time with The Women of Wynton's and seeing how far they have come in their personal lives, learning about their pasts and overcoming hard times by leaning on each other. I really enjoyed it.  I received this book from the publisher and was not required to leave a review. This honest opinion is my own. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read this.
